The iconic Berkeley tattoo and piercing shops did her first works and since then she has had many artists add to her ink. She has been getting tattooed and been involved in the tattoo industry for more than 10 years now.
Katie has had tattoos removed herself and fully understands what her clients are experiencing. Her aim is to provide medical-grade equipment and procedures to lighten or remove tattoos in a comfortable tattoo shop environment.
Hence, Light Speed Laser, a tattoo lightening and removal business was established to give the quality and certainty offered by medical practitioners in a comfortable and familiar, non-judgemental tattoo shop environment. Light Speed Laser aims to help people get rid of their unwanted tattoos or to open up the options they have for new cover up designs. Katie understands that people have an emotional as well as aesthetic connection to their body art and aims to help them update or remove the desired pieces, big or small, in a relaxed setting.
